THE PROJECT
M1A1 is an industrial music project prioritizing mechanical aggression and sonic experimentation. Founded by producer Michael McMurray, it draws on his history in the local scene—combining the raw energy of punk rock outfit Gawker with the electronic foundations of Robot Says No—to create a platform built on dark digital synthesis, piercing, uncomfortable synth textures, and driving MS-20 basslines.
Lyrically, M1A1 is a raw exploration of the fractured human experience, dealing innately with themes of relationships, death, and the darker realities of life.
